The Bulbous Corydalis grows not too far from the Netherlands in the wild. In the Netherlands it occurs in some places in the wild, and it is on the Red list. In the Stinzen environment this beautiful plant can occur on a large scale. The Bulbous Corydalis is only a short time above the ground, after flowering the seed is formed quite quickly, the leaf dies and the species disappears underground. The plant multiplies by forming new tubers and by seed.

The Dekema State, Jongemastate, Martenatuin (Franeker), Martenastate, Philippusfenne, St. Vitus churchyard Stiens and Stinze Stiens are interesting places to see the Bulbous Corydalis.
