Drooping Star-of-Betlehem grows naturally in Southeastern Europe. It occurs in various Stinzen environments.

Dekema State (alley/old entrance driveway where it grows together with the Wild Tulip) is a nice place to see the Drooping Star-of-Betlehem. Furthermore, the species also occurs at the Martenatuin (Franeker), Philippusfenne, Schierstins and Stinze Stiens.
